Guest Services Team Member (PT)
Does helping others create a relaxing and personalized spa experience sound satisfying? Do you enjoy working with an incredible team of humans?
Our Guest Services team is looking for an individual with an eye for detail, a dedication to customer service, and is a great fit with our talented team. We are a group of individuals who operate at a high standard to craft a guest experience inspired by the omotenashi hospitality of Japan. We’re hoping to find someone who can rise to the occasion with us as we develop ourselves and our skills to present guests with an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Take spa, lodging, and restaurant reservations across three software platforms
- Tailor each experience to our guests’ needs, from their first phone call to their next visit

Requirements:
- Basic computer proficiency
- Efficiency and accuracy in payment processing
- Ability to commit to at least one regular night and/or weekend shift
Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to frequently stand for hours at a time; frequently walk short distances, to walk up and down stairs and over uneven terrain. Some work is performed in a non-traditional office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages and other items.

Groundskeeper
Ten Thousand Waves Japanese Spa Resort is currently seeking a full-time groundskeeper to join our talented House of Moons team. The role involves maintaining our private lodging courtyards, including cleaning, stripping rooms, delivering supplies, and performing various maintenance tasks.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Applicants must be available to work weekends and flexible hours including weekdays and holidays in an all-season outdoor environment. Applicants must be able to frequently walk up and down stairs and over uneven terrain, and be able to lift 50 lbs.

FOH Host (FT)
Ten Thousand Waves is seeking a dedicated and hospitable FOH Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, coordinate with the dining team, and maintain a warm, professional demeanor throughout their visit.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.
- Demonstrate omotenashi (Japanese hospitality) with guests arriving and departing the restaurant.
- Manage reservations using OpenTable, ensuring accurate seating arrangements.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Reset tables and maintain a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Assist with seating guests efficiently.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay on your feet for extended periods to provide attentive service and support the restaurant where needed.
- Assist with additional duties as assigned by managers to support the team and enhance the guest experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a host or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- A professional and friendly demeanor, ensuring guests feel valued.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
