Most americans think of sake as that sweet hot plonk served in sushi bars. You’ll find none of that here. We serve only artisanal sake, handmade in small batches by family-owned sake breweries. Good sake is generally drunk cold, and is as complex and varied as wine. Some of our sake can be heated--check the menu below for our suggestions. Sake pairs beautifully with food - even salads and pickles!
We have the largest artisanal sake menu of any restaurant between the coasts - over 50 varieties - and more fresh, bright namazake (unpasteurized sake) than any restaurant in North America. For those unfamiliar with good sake, we have a variety of 2 oz. tasting flights.
